Michael Scott is a 4th grader at Our Lady of Lourdes School
in Columbus, GA where he maintains a ‘B’ average.
Michael began riding Motocross without training wheels at
age 4 and began racing at age 5 1/2. In 2005, Michael left
Motocross to concentrate on Flat Track. He liked to go “fast”.
In 2006, Michael raced in his first Supermoto race and adjusted
quickly to the asphalt. By March 2006, Michael began Road
Racing with Southeastern Mini Road Racing Association (SEMRA)
and he now has his Mini License with WERA Motorcycle Racing
(WERA). He now competes in all Road Racing and Supermoto disciplines.
Michael finished 3rd in WERA National Series, 2nd in WERA
Mid-Central, 2nd in WERA North Central, 2nd in WERA Southeast,
4th in WERA North Florida, and 6th in WERA Mid-Atlantic. His
other interests include swimming, biking, skateboarding, and
shotgun shooting.
Objective for the 2008 season are to race 27 races, 7 Nationals
and 20 Regional Races. Michael will be traveling throughout
Southeast in the 2008 Season. In conjunction with racing,
Michael will continue to build long term mutually beneficial
relationships with his sponsors and improve his skills and
abilities.
MBS Projects has continued to make significant changes to
the planning and execution of the races in order to improve
their usefulness to both our sponsors and Michael. Sponsors
will be notified of each race and invited to attend throughout
the year. The relationship with our Sponsors will include
pictures and full race reports emailed every quarter and upon
request.
As in previous years, we are anxious to expand the general
sponsorship of the MBS Projects. Sponsorship levels and costs
remain the same and we will again be contributing a percentage
of the revenues received during the year to the Boys and Girls
Club of America. MBS Projects was created to support those
charities that are doing the real work for kids in need. Children
suffering with illness, those who have been neglected or abused,
and those children who need loving guidance in their lives.
During our General Sponsorship Meeting a full report outlining
our goals, objectives, and financial status will be distributed
to our partners.
MBS Projects anticipates a great 2008 Race Season! We will
provide a truly rewarding portfolio of events in support of
the MBS Projects and Sponsors.
